Yesterday, Feb. 12, was the first day of the 19th Philippine International Hot Air Balloon which is being held at Clark Field in Pampanga and will continue until Feb. 15, 2014. We joined the crowd by noon time hoping to see the much-awaited Hot Air Balloon Fly-in by late afternoon. And while waiting, we content ourselves by walking around the area, took some photos, and upload some of it in our Flickr account.
Those who have Yahoo mail accounts are automatically subscribed to Flickr and you just have to log-in your email username and password to get access to it. Things just got better at Flickr because now, everyone gets 1TB of storage free. And that’s not all, Flickr introduced Flickr 3.0 for iPhone and Android.
Since we were at it inside Clark Field, we point and shoot from our Android device Honor 6 and captured life’s moments during our stay. We took photos of the ‘young at hearts’ flying kites while children run around, accompanied by their parents. We also saw group of friends eagerly waiting for the fly-in which was supposed to happen by 5:45 PM. You may check out the rest of the Hot Air Balloon schedule here.
But the wonderful moments that we’ve captured by the stunningly great camera of the Honor 6, were those of the people sharing smiles and love with their companions, family, friends, and loved ones. One photo that we’ve captured was the seemingly sweet moments of a young couple who just sat there in the middle of the ground and watched the people passed by around them. Maybe it’s because Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. If you’re looking for a Valentines’ Day date-place this week, then include the 19th Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Festival on your schedule.
Thanks to Flickr sharing, we posted that photo in our Facebook account. Indeed, love is in the air at the 19th Philippine International Hot Air Balloon! Meanwhile, do take a look at our Honor 6 review here.
