Pop Rock Princess Yeng Constantino Is In Love

As the Love Month fast approaches, Pop Rock Princess Yeng Constantino shared us some of her personal stories and her up-coming unique Valentine show dubbed “Ok Lang Maging Single Sa Valentines.”

The title of the show is a phrase born out of Yeng‘s own idea. “It was August of last year around the time of my solo concert at the Aliw Theater, when I thought of the title and immediately, the concept of a show came to me,” Yeng said. “I thought, ‘wouldnt it be nice to come up with a show with singles in my mind instead of the usual Valentines show for couples?’” she added.

Being ‘single since birth,’ as she claims upon, love is not entirely new to her as she is so in love in many ways. Pop Rock Princess Yeng Constantino Is In Love.

In Love with Her Family and Music

Yeng couldn’t help but share with us how she loves her family so much, especially with her mom. She knows for a fact that pursuing her dreams has lots of challenges, yet she is very thankful for a loving father and mother backing up her ambitions in life. She was raised with the gift of a beautiful voice and talent in singing, and she owes it much to her parents. Music has been a way of life for Yeng and with her family supporting her, makes it even more fulfilling. “Ang cute-cute ng mama ko (My mom is so cute),” the 23-year-old Yeng exclaimed in delight.

Yeng is usually the rock-chic type who typically doesn’t mind anything or what to wear, because of her personality. Suddenly, she realizes that she is after all her fans would look up to. Thus, she now knows how to dress herself fashionably. And she does look very pretty during that exclusive and intimate media bloggers conference this late afternoon. I swear, I couldn’t help but notice her glowing look and deym!, I am awed of her beauty right here and then! Yeng suddenly became my crush, officially today!

In Love with Her Eyes

When asked which part of her body she likes the most, she answered it is her eyes. She used to be the type of girl who regularly put eye make-ups but now she proudly told everyone that she doesn’t put any more to highlight her eyes. Indeed, when I saw her today, I first noticed her wonderful and innocent-appearing eyes she has. “It is all about being natural, less make-up,” she said. Even in her nightly regiment before going to bed, she told us that she never forgets to clean and rinse her face with the right amount of water before going to sleep every night.

Yeng definitely puts all her effort in making her fans satisfied by giving them more great songs and doing collaborations with different OPM artists. In fact, she can’t help but give some teasers on her up and coming original song which will be first heard and perform in her “Ok Lang Maging Single Sa Valentines” show come February 3 at The Music Museum, directed by Dido Camara and produced by Jack Rufo.







In Love with Being Single

“I have never been in a relationship ‘since birth’ and I want to bring the message out there that it is okay to be single,” admits Yeng. “I want to enjoy life without having the thoughts of being in a relationship. Not just yet,” she added. What? Yeng Constantino? Single? “I would like a man who pursues his dreams,” replied Yeng when asked if it is possible for her to get into a relationship, perhaps in the distant future. But with the things going on with her career, that kind of relationship might not be on her top priorities. This is why the concept of her up-coming pre-Valentines show was penned into an idea. “All the songs that I’m singing will be a case to prove why it’s good to be single,” Yeng said.

That and a couple of surprise guests Jovit Baldovino and Paolo Valenciano and Yeng‘s special treat for everyone that comes in the form of new, original songs that she will be debuting on the up-coming show.

During the interview, she gamely answered all her fans via online who were asking for some information about her. One fan asked her if she still plans to pursue her studies and she answered that there are plans to do so. She even showed us one of the works of her fan who made a cover-like lay-out magazine with Yeng on the front cover. Her fans are called ‘Yengsters‘ and the support that they are giving to the Pop Rock Princess are always noticed by the singer herself. “Akala niyo hindi ako sumasagot sa mga messages niyo saken online? Ako yun!” she even told everyone (referring to messages sent out by her fans) and added that she really finds time to connect with her fans. In fact, she has become an online addict nowadays – chatting, answering and discovering her fans on the Internet. She really loves her fans, and they do the same.

And so, Yeng Constantino is really in love! In oh so many ways.
