You think that basketball stars just wear their jerseys and had the number on them without specific reasons? Well here’s what Ron Harper has to say on why he chose jersey No. 9 during his stint with Chicago Bulls. “I recalled MJ wearing the jersey No. 9 when he played for the U.S. Team,” said Harper at the opening of the 2nd NBA Store in the Philippines last October 16 at the SM Megamall, Mega Fashion Hall.
Managed by International Athletic Trading Company, Inc. (IATC), the new NBA Store will offer basketball enthusiasts authentic NBA merchandise and memorabilia. The store will feature an extensive selection of NBA products from all 30 teams, including: official jerseys, footwear, performance gear, lifestyle apparel, basketballs, toys, and collectibles.
“The initial flagship NBA Store in Glorietta has established itself as the premier destination for NBA fanatics in the country and we could not be more excited to fuel their passion with the unveiling of our second store,” said Melvin Lloyd Lim, President and CEO, IATC.
“We are thrilled to expand our footprint with the opening of the second NBA Store in the Philippines,” said Carlo Singson, Associate Vice President and Country Manager for the Philippines, NBA Asia. “IATC is the ideal partner in our efforts to outfit more Filipinos in their favorite NBA apparel and to offer the widest range of NBA merchandise in the Philippines.”
