Have you ever visited all 81 provinces of our country? Or at least, half of it? Don’t be sad if you haven’t yet. A lot of people and many travelers’ dream is to visit all the beautiful places in the Philippines and only few have made it so far. It must not stop us to dream the impossible of exploring another new destination in our lifetime. Let the travel journeys and stories of the people we knew and the likes of well-known travel bloggers be our inspiration to drive us more to follow their steps in discovering different places we’ve been dreaming where to land our feet into next.
But before we journey into some foreign land, isn’t much better if we start exploring our own and beautiful country?
“Travel inspiration is everywhere. people are eager to break their routines, and are hungry for new and authentic experiences. thanks to the internet, Filipinos are becoming increasingly aware of the beauty and vibrant natural wonders of the Philippines and social media has made it very easy for people to share their discoveries, and spread a sense of wonder,” said Philippines AirAsia’s CEO, Joy Cañeba, during the unveiling of the photo and video exhibit collaboration by Where to next, Free Spirits PH, SinoPinas, videographer Patrick Martin, and AirAsia. The film and photo exhibit were immortalized and printed with Canon and held at the #WhyIFly media launch at The Coffee Bean & tea Leaf 26th St. Bistro.
The project #WhyIFly comes full circle in its aim to inspire more stories and journeys from people through the ‘Why I Fly Challenge’, a call to inspire friends and loved ones to embrace local travel by sharing their travel motivations through beautiful photos in social media. The challenge will take place via Instagram, and will require participants to post one photo of their trip a day for 5 consecutive days, and provide an answer to “Why I Fly” as captions.
