It is confirmed! The AXE Apollo Space Academy (A.A.S.A) is really in the process of sending an astronaut to space and they are now moving to the next phase of the search. Closing the drafts last May 15 with a whopping 28,020 applications and approximately 600,000 site visits locally, the Philippines landed 4th in the global list of countries that have the most number of wanna-be astronauts who registered. This is a solid proof that Filipinos really have high aspirations and they will do whatever it takes to get to where they want to be in life (may it be in space), which is definitely the same characteristics that placed our country in the global radar.

The ludicrous Ramon Bautista, one of the A.A.S.A National Directors alongside Luis Manzano, Sam Gogna and Gino Quillamor, happily explained the process that the top-voted candidates will undertake during the National Challenges to the guests during an event in Aracama Filipino Cuisine.

The first challenge will be an online test of mathematical wit, abstract reasoning, engineering skills, color distinction, space knowledge, emotional stability and a whole lot more in which only 400 from the initial 4,485 top-voted candidates will have the probability to advance to the next challenge.

From there, the second challenge will subject the top 400 candidates in an obstacle course inspired by courses used in military training in which the first 50 candidates who overcome it advances to the third and last challenge.

The last challenge, which is the most grueling of all, will be the ultimate determinant. In here, candidates will be asked to outlast one another in tough physical conditions. Concluding the challenge, the last two heroes standing will emerge as victors as they represent the country in the international AXE Apollo Space Camp in the U.S.

It is indeed a very tedious process!

The fun does not end there as Axe also announced a special promo called the “Axe Apollo Hyperdrive Promo” which opens a wildcard for anyone aged 18 years old above, to have one last fighting chance at a trip to space. Whoever the winner is, he or she will be sent to the space camp alongside the two winners from the National Challenges.

How can one join the promo? It is quite simple! Just purchase any Axe Apollo Body Spray Product and do not lose the receipt, as each receipt will be considered as a raffle entry to the promo!
