It was one year to be exact when we first met ‘Bossing’ for his first Bloggers Meet & Greet for the 2011 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry “Enteng Ng Ina Mo”, opposite Ai Ai delas Alas. Earlier tonight, Bossing Vic Sotto meets the bloggers for the second time for “Si Agimat, Si Enteng Kabisote at Si AKO” press conference held at Annabel’s in Tomas Morato.
The 2012 MMFF entry jumps where “Si Agimat at Si Enteng Kabisote” (2010) ended and now continuing the saga of the formidable forces of Enteng Kabisote (Vic) and Ramon ‘Bong’ Revilla, Jr. (Agimat) with a bigger, grander, and more spectacular fantasy-adventure movie predicted to top-bill the box-office this holiday season.
The other casts – Bong and Judy Ann Santos weren’t able to join the press-con which left Bossing to take all the questions thrown by the bloggers themselves.
Bossing gamely answered all questions from ‘How was the movie conceptualized’, ‘How they (Bong) agreed with the billing’, ‘How much budget the film cost to produce’, and etc.
“Si Agimat, Si Enteng Kabisote at Si AKO” takes to a new level, according to Vic. Here they tackle the issues of the environment while battling forces of evil in this family-oriented next adventure chapter of heroic exploits. Tony Y. Reyes directs the film while Bibeth Orteza and Jermyn Aven Jacob wrote the scripts.
“Si Agimat, Si Enteng Kabisote at Si AKO” begins with the establishment of the three different worlds, bound to meet for an adventure like no other – the humble family-oriented Enteng Kabisote, who is married to beautiful Fairy Princess of Encantasia, Faye (Gwen Zamora); Agimat, the brave village warrior hero of Amuleto; and the high tech-yuppie Kingdom of Diwatara ruled by Princess Angelina Kalinisan Orteza (Judy Ann), thus the name AKO would have came from.
The movie also stars the new child wonder, Ryzza Mae Dizon; the sexy Sam Pinto, as Samara – Agimat’s wife; Aiza Seguerra; Jillian Ward; Jolo Revilla; Oyo Boy Sotto; Ruby Rodriguez; Amy Perez; Jose Manalo; Wally Bayola; John Lapuz; and a whole lot more.
Talking about the budget, Bossing never revealed how much it cost them but gave a hint on how much they spent on their MMFF 2012 parade float – a whopping P1M!
for more interesting updates!
With a big-budget and a stellar casts, it’s no doubt that “Si Agimat, Si Enteng Kabisote at Si AKO” will rake the box-office this year.
Produced jointly by industry powerhouse outfits Imus Productions, OctoArts Films, M-Zet TV, APT Entertainment and GMA Films, “Si Agimat, Si Enteng Kabisote at Si AKO” opens on December 25, 2012.
