That’s right! Starting November, select automated teller machines of BPI will be dressed-up in designs that are truly Pinoy!
Thanks to the partnership between BPI and Department of Tourism (DOT), this project aims to make banking more fun for the foreigners who are visiting the country. Select ATMs feature designs that are reflective of the Filipino culture such as jeepney and popular Filipino tourist attractions such as the white sands of Boracay, Mayon Volcano, and the Tubbataha reef.
The campaign #MoreFunBPI was launched last November 20 at the BPI Head Office in Ayala, Makati. Also, the first ATM jeepney design was unveiled during the media presentation led by DOT Tourism Promotions Board Philippines COO Domingo ‘Chicoy’ Enerio III, BPI Prresident and CEO Cezar Consing, and BPI Executive VP and Head of Retail Segments and Channels Group Natividad Alejo.
“We are continually innovating our banking channels to better serve the ever changing customer preference and cater to a growing client base, including foreigners wishing to visit the country. Through our strategic partnership with DOT, we make banking for foreigners fast, easy, reliable, and tourist-friendly,” says Alejo.
Visit The Philippines 2015
Also known as Kagawaran ng Turismo, DOT is the executive department of the Philippine government who is responsible in regulating the Philippines’ Tourism industry and promote the country as a prime tourist destination not only to foreign tourists but to the Filipinos as well.
DOT will also start promoting Visit The Philippines 2015 campaign that will go side-by-side with the It’s More Fun in the Philippines promotion.
Banking and Tourism
The BPI ATMs new look and feel will give foreigners the ultimate Filipino experience, even in their banking transactions. These ATMs can be seen in select Metro Manila branches and soon in Boracay, Subic, Palawan, Davao, Cebu, and Baguio.
