The announcement came during the official presentation at New World Hotel in Makati on May 13, 2014. BPI Express Credit is now the first and exclusive bank partner of AirAsia BIG in the Philippines for rewards conversion programs. BPI joins the ranks of top regional banks that are AirAsia BIG’s selct bank partners in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia.
With BPI as the exclusive bank partner of AirAsia BIG in the Philippines, BPI cardholders can now convert their Real Thrills Rewards (RTR) points to AirAsia BIG points. Every three (3) RTR points is equivalent to one (1) AirAsia BIG point. They can use the BIG points to redeem AirAsia flights and services, among others. Plus BPI Express Credit cardholders will be the first to know of AirAsia BIG points redemption.
At the launch, AirAsia BIG started to give 13% bonus BIG points to BPI cardholders who will convert a minimum of 300 RTR points (100 AirAsia BIG points) from May 13 to July 13, 2014.
