According to Kenneth Mariano, Marketing Manager of Jollibee, “It’s the perfect story board that warrants the perfect choice of family endorsers such as the Legaspi family.” Mariano’s statement came about when he was asked why it took a long time before (Jollibee) decided to bring back Carmina Villaroel as their brand endorser. Carmina Villaroel-Legaspi, husband Zoren, and grown-up twins Mavy and Cassy are the newest endorser for Jolly Spaghetti.
The Legaspi family are known to be a bankable family endorsers when it comes to many products who believed in their endorsing powers. The Legaspi’s are familiar faces from an ice cream brand to detergent powder products, to name a few. As for the Jolly Spaghetti product, Mariano said that it was clear that they just had to bring in the Legaspi family to the place where they want it to be.
In the 1980‘s, Carmina‘s rose to fame was during a stint at a Jollibee commercial that catapulted the young Carmina to stardom in the local showbiz industry. This time, the new Jolly Spaghetti TVC has two different versions and one links to the 1980‘s commercial of Carmina that they dubbed as “Pahabol“. “It’s good to have a material that’s been very close to what we had before,” Mariano explained. And true to that, the old TVC has made a come back and has gone viral as we speak.

“I feel great, I feel so blessed and I’m so happy because I am part of Jollibee again, and not only me but, my entire family. I am super happy and I’m really excited with our new TVC. I’m very thankful,” said Carmina when she was interviewed by ETC after the launching of Jolly Spaghetti’s newest endorsers. Mavy and Cassy are both happy that (Jollibee) got them to endorse for the product as a family. “I’ts like a pass-it on situation,” echoed the siblings. As for Zoren, he felt privileged to be part of a No. 1 brand. He also said that it made them feel special that made him think that maybe, they (family) are doing something right because people loved them.
