 ReStore is a home improvement donation store for new and slightly used building materials and home products. It is also the fundraising arm of Habitat for Humanity. ReStore was established in Canada and first opened in 1991, after-which there have been a total of 957 ReStore worldwide including the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Northern Ireland, and the very first facility in Asia which is located in the Philippines.  Appeal to assist Habitat  for  Humanity  has  launched  an  appeal  to  assist  families  affected  by  Typhoon  Hagupit  (called  Ruby  in  the  Philippines).  The  storm  made  first  landfall  on  Samar,  an  island  in  the  Visayas,  Philippines,  late  in  the  evening  of  Saturday,  6th of  December.  We arrived at Bohol Tagbilaran Airport today, May 2 at around 2 PM and were welcomed by representative of Bohol Tropics where we will stay for the night. Representatives from Habitat for Humanity Geffrey Floresca, Bernadette Tan, Stephanie Manalastas, and Alex Dizon joined us for late-lunch at Cafe Atanacio inside Bohol Tropics.  In 2013, a large number of runners went through the distance when last year’s expected number of 10,000 runners were demolished by an actual registered 12,000 participants.
