 I almost missed Jollibee’s awesome appearance yesterday , due to heavy traffic and slight drizzle, but thankfully I was able to catch up with the intimate press event held at the Jollibee E. Rodriguez branch. Jollibee, the country’s number one fast-food chain, highlighted anew the joy and pride of being Pinoy by introducing the grandest Jollibee Independence Day campaign, “#PinoyAndProud: Ang Sarap, Ang Saya Maging Pilipino!” that closely follows two successful Pinoy pride celebrations from Jollibee. 2014’s “Foreignoy” campaign related the stories of foreigners who consider themselves Pinoys at heart, while 2015’s #HappyBdayPilipinas compiled wishes, hopes, and promises of the Filipino citizens.  If there is one thing that you can give back to your home country, what would it be? This question popped in  my mind when I realized we’re only a few days left before we celebrate Philippine Independence Day.
