This partnership is our way of honoring and celebrating the dedication, sacrifice, and true resilience of every Filipino working overseas. “We are of course very proud to be part of another milestone that can only come from the domestic airline industries game-changer, Cebu Pacific Air. Having been professionally involved in the airline industry for more than 2 decades, I marvel how Cebu Pacific won the uphill battle to become the no. 1 domestic air carrier in the country today. I should know, that it takes more than just innovative sales, marketing and pricing schemes to finally dominate the air, like Cebu pacific continues to do today. Perhaps it is because of the unflinching determination and guts of steel of the Gokongwei patriarch, the father of Lance, Mr. John, which must have rub off from the whole of Cebu Pacific team. And that is why up to now, Cebu Pacific continues to conquer mountains and mountains of challenges. The flight to Dubai is one of such challenges and we are very happy to be chosen as a partner of Cebu Pacific in the 100 Lucky Juans as we give our international subscribers the best air travel option possible, at this time. Surely this is a win-win situation for some 700,000 Filipinos in Dubai,“said GMA Network Chairman and CEO Atty. Felipe Gozon.
“Dubai is a destination, that I was told is currently under-serve. But it will not be for long, because in October this year, Cebu Pacific’s first long haul flight will land in the heart of one of the richest, economic, and tourism hubs in the Middle East. So it goes without saying that indeed, we are happy and proud to continue working with partners with whom we share the passion to excel and succeed,” Atty. Gozon added.
Alex Reyes, General Manager, Long Haul Division, Cebu Pacific, also added that one of the criteria for the 100 Lucky Juans entries should bring out the fun-loving nature of the Filipinos.
Once launched this October, Cebu Pacific will be the first Philippine carrier to fly directly from manila to Dubai, with year-round fares starting at Php 6,999.
