Cebu Pacific takes a step forward in enhancing passenger experience with the launch of its all-new inflight meal selection, in partnership with the world-renowned MIASCOR-Gate Gourmet Philippines.
Yup. Starting September 2017, all domestic and international flights of Cebu Pacific will be offering a fresh selection of pre-ordered meals, with 12 new dishes now up for grabs.
This exciting news was revealed to us and we got our first dibs of the #CebMeals series when we visited Cebu Pacific’s headquarters, for the first time, along Airport Road in Pasay City.
The visit was in line with the sampling of the inflight meals prepared by Chef Mark Ledesma, Executive Sous Chef of MIASCOR-Gate Gourmet Manila.
Ranging from rice meals, pasta and noodles, and premium sandwich packs, the new Cebu Pacific inflight menu was created exclusively by MIASCOR-Gate Gourmet to cater to the varied tastes and preferences of the CEB flier. These new specially-prepared meals fall under the Western Fusion Series, Filipino Series and Asian series, with each of the flavor lines guaranteed to make each flight a delicious experience.
Chef Mark shared us how Cebu Pacific values passengers’ food preferences and how they made the selection for the 12 inflight meals.
For lightly-flavored offerings, travelers can choose from Chicken Caesar Croissant, Chicken Alfredo Pasta,
Baked Dory Tropicale, and Hazelnut Banana Croissant. Passengers who have a penchant for light and balanced flavors are sure to enjoy these meals under the Western Fusion series selection.
The Filipino series, on the other hand, is a reinvention of local favorites like the Beef Tapa & Egg Burrito, Pancit Bam-l Guisado, Beef Laing, and Spicy Bangus Sisig. Asia’s winning flavors are also included in the menu with Beef Chelo Kebab, Chicken Satay with Cashew Nut Sauce, and CEB’s own spin to the salted egg craze-Salted Ege Glazed Chicken Rice and Salted Egg Chicken in Baguette.
The new on-board palate pleasers are all Halal-certified, and adhere to the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) system nutritional and product information, as reference for an increasing number of health-conscious
passengers on CEB for international food safety.

Cebu Pacific’s new selection of delicious high-quality meals is exclusive for pre-order on all flights, departing 24 hours or more from time of booking. This ensures that the food is prepared only upon order, ensuring a savory dining experience at 35,000 feet.
Since we were there already, we were assisted with a tour of the building from the Flight Attendants (FA) and Pilot’s Lounge all the way to the rooftop where we go to see the parked Airbus lined up in the runway of NAIA Terminal 3.
The best part of the tour was our visit to Cebu Pacific’s President and CEO Lance Y. Gokongwei’s office. The office of the head of Cebu Pacific, also known as LYG, has a modern design look with a glass panel wall offering a wide view look of the NAIA Terminal 3. Our visit was made even more special when it was announced that it was the first time that the headquarters officially opened its door to a group of media guests.
Currently, Cebu Pacific flies with Airbus A319-100, A320-200, and A330-300 conpleting the 47 aircrafts in service. It was on June 22, 2016 when the airline received its first Airbus A320 with new livery. The aircraft was delivered brand-new from the Airbus factory in Toulouse, France.
Cebu Pacific had announced during the 2015 Paris Air Show their order of the 16 ATR 72-600 aircraft to meet growing demand in the Philippines for inter-island services.
And so this coming September, Cebu Pacific fliers will enjoy the full experience of travel with the airline’s newest offering of flavors on board. Meals ranges from P180, P200, and P350. Food meals have labels with ingredients and nutritional information.
These meals are available for pre-order and passengers are ensured that the meals they ordered are made fresh and delivered right before the flight leaves, according to Charo Lagamon, Director for Corporate Communications, Cebu Pacific Air.
Ceb meals can be booked up to 24 hours before the flight with P50 savings per order on initial booking.
