The return of Converse Chuck Taylor All
Star 70’s headlined the simultaneous activities of the Spring Summer collection, a dash of colored design and artworks blended “to paint the town red,” according to Kate Oliva, marketing and advertising manager of Converse Philippines. The series of events is dubbed “Sneakers Clash” where the public are invited to step into a kaleidoscope world where squeaky clean totes, shirts and sneakers will be spun in a Clash Box to come out with different colors to be transformed into unique work of art.
The launch was held at Ayala Fairview Center on May 10, 2014. Social media followers participated by capturing creative photos that were posted on Facebook with the hashtag #photoclashph jazzed up by CJ de Silva and posted back to the user’s profile.
Sneakers Clash also introduces its newest brand musical band ambassadors composed of called All Star Creative (Peso Movement), Converse Creative Connector (Gracenote), Cons Creative Active (Stereodeal), and Jack Purcell Creative Curators (Paranoid City).
Michael Carandang, also a Jack Purcell Creative Curator, joins as Sneakers Clash brand ambassador. Michael has served as a producer of popular TV shows in the States, The Tyra Banks Show and America’s Next Top Model.
