Since Flight MH370 is missing without a trace and nobody knows it’s fate, there are multiple theories, many theories on what possibly happen to that plane. Did it vanished due to terrorism, was it hijacking? Was it a catastrophic failure or some sort? Was the jet struck by a meteor?
There are many theories out there. Malaysian government theorizes it was ‘deliberately flown off’ its scheduled course but why and where is it now?
These and more were the topics when Don Lemon from LIVE CNN discussed possible and weird theories surrounding the disappearance of Malaysia Airlines MH370. His guests in the panel included Hans Weber, Aviation Safety Expert; Brad Meltzer, Author, History Decoded: The 10 Greatest Conspiracies of All Times; and Mitchell Casado, Pilot Trainer, 777 Cockpit Simulator.
“Don, it’s almost like the pilot episode of LOST. And that’s the scary question, right? How is it vanish? We have to remember, that makes it a mystery. And mysteries are like any stories. A story isn’t what did happen is what could happen,” said Brad during the interview on LIVE CNN’s MYSTERY OF FLIGHT 370.
Meltzer also pointed out two important things that boggles the mind of investigators. “What if two things happens? It’s not just how they have vanished but how they have quieted this long? So one of two things is true, either of course that plane has crashed the ocean, everyone on board is gone. Or, if there’s still life, how did they keep quiet? And I think that’s the scariest part to me, which is. what happen to these people that is not that they’ve just vanished but we haven’t heard anything at all this time. And yes we all know how impossible is, and it’s where every conspiracy falls apart, how do you keep everyone quiet?”
This talk or discussion were brought up by odd questions and beyond human understandings of the disappearance of Flight MH370, almost 10 days since it left Kuala Lumpur on Saturday.
“What conspiracy theories do is they ask the hardest most outrageous questions sometimes but once in a while they are right. And that’s what we have to remember here, why it has capture our attention is because there is no logical explanation right now where you can say ‘Oh, it crashed into the ocean,’ but something just seems not and were in at a part. Where are the pieces? Why they keep gone for 7 hours? Why did a guy on board who gives his watch and ring to his wife and says ‘Keep these from my boys in case something happens to me’. That’s not some stranger, he’s a mechanical engineer. Something smells wrong. And you know, one of my favorite reporter once said to me ‘That American people always will sniff for the truth until they’ve find it’. And there’s something about the story that just strikes us at our core where something seems really fishy, it’s just smells terrible,” Meltzer explained.
Phones ringing might just be a sad sort of false hope
Brett Larson , Technical Analyst, told LIVE CNN that the ‘mysterious’ phones ringing might just be a sad sort of false hope to pin to.
“The reality on cellphones ringing is, when you make a call, if you were calling my phone, it’s not ‘my phone’ that is sending that ring tone back to that makes the sound – it’s the cellphone provider, it’s the Verizon; it’s AT&T; it’s the Vodafone sending that signal back to you instead of that silence that you would normally hear and what you are hearing and while you’re hearing that ring, it’s looking for your cellphone,” Larson shared to Don.
Up until today, March 17, no signs yet of the missing jetliner. The disappearance of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 may become one of history’s biggest mysteries that leaves us without any firm answers, yet.
