Prior to its official launch just recently, I had no idea about the brand Filigree. I’m aware of the real estate company Filinvest, being a “southie” who regularly goes to Filicity (a.k.a. Filinvest City). Filigree, which is actually under Filinvest Group, represents four world-class projects and I’m no stranger to almost all of them: tallest residential condominium down Manila south Bristol at Parkway Place, low-density and eco-friendly residential complex Botanika Nature Residences, and tropical-inspired residential subdivision The Enclave Alabang (in fact, this event was held at its clubhouse). I’ve never seen or been to property #4 The Beaufort, a two-tower condominium, since it’s at the BGC (Bonifacio Global City) unlike the other big three that can be found within south of Manila – particularly Alabang and Daang Hari Road going to Cavite.
Thanks to an unexpected opportunity to blog about the launch party, I finally understood why these projects are not like the usual and they truly deserve not just international recognition, but likewise the discerning upper class’ attention, interest and purchasing power.
Filigree speaks of premium quality, sophistication and creativity. To show consistency between the event’s objectives and portfolio showcase in connection with the brand, there’s the black and silver overall theme, VIPs mostly in black cocktail attire as part of the guest list, glasses of wine with an exclusive menu of five-star food creations by a top chef, a high-end private venue, smooth-flowing program featuring a well-known model/actress as host and live bossa nova entertainment, and chic giveaways reserved for the privileged few. If there’s a gathering of Manila’s finest that you can describe using the millennial expressions “lit AF”, “bougie” or “lakas maka-alta”, this Filigree event is definitely the one.
You have to see these photos as proof:
Modern Filipino cuisine served to us for dinner was by none other than Chef Margarita “Gaita” Araneta Fores of Cibo, Lusso and Grace Park restos.
Guests were pleased by the hosting skills of Ms. Angel Jacob and the choices of songs performed by local bossa nova star Sitti.
AVPs were shown as part of the program to tell us the Filigree story, and the dream team of collaborators for each Filigree property were invited onstage for a live interview with Ms. Jacob, Q&A portion with the guests, and celebratory toast. Joining them is Filigree Principal Josephine Gotianun-Yap.
Who are the creative geniuses behind Filigree apart from Mrs. Yap?
First would be the Architects of Record: R. Villarosa Architects for The Beaufort, CASAS + Architects for Bristol at Parkway Place, H1 Architecture for the Enclave Alabang, and Leandro V. Locsin Partners for Botanika Nature Residences.
Next, the International Architectural Consultants: Arquitectonica for The Beaufort and Architecture International for both Bristol and Botanika.
Helping them out as well are the Landscape Consultants: DQA Environmental Design for The Beaufort, CREARIS Environmental Design for Bristol, and AECOM for The Enclave and Botanika.
Completing the powerhouse project teams are the Interior Designers: Texeira Design Inc. Erfe & Associates for The Beaufort, Hirsch Bedner Associates for Bristol, BUDJI+ROYAL Architecture + Design for The Enclave, and Miaja Design Group Pte Ltd for Botanika.
I mentioned giveaways, right? A posh box containing four bottles of custom-made perfume and a sleek USB disk in a tin case definitely made my night!
