Acer Philippines just launched a new campaign that aims to bridge the generation gap between Generation X and the millennials. The campaign #TimeForUs featured two prominent personalities who signifies the era of these two generations.
Rock idol Bast Artadi and spoken words artist Juan Miguel Severo are the two icons Acer chose to represent to bridge the gap by showcasing both of their talents for a song called ‘Time For Us’ which was unveiled to a jampacked crowd at Yes Please bar in Taguig last night, June 20, 2017.
Hosted by former MTV jock Donita Rose and event host Justin Quirino, the program also revealed the #TimeForUs collaboration between giants Acer and Casio G-Shock.
#TimeForUs is a movement aims at narrowing the divide between GenX and the millennials.
Sue Ong-Lim, Sales and Marketing Director, Acer Philippines announced the partnership in front of the guests present at Yes Please. “It’s imperative that we see that, amidst the differences between GenXers and millennials, they are a lot alike,” she said.
“It’s silly!” both Basti and JM answered when they were asked what’s their reaction to the divide.
The powerhouse brands, Acer and G-Shock, revealed another exciting promo from the partnership.
Every purchase of qualified Acer laptops, customers are entitled to a free G-Shock watch which they can claim in any of Acer’s service centers in Manila, Cebu, and Davao. All they have to do is fill-up a form together with accompanying requirements before claiming the G-Shock watch worth P5,995 (subject to availability of models).
The #TimeForUs promo started on May 16, 2017 per DTI-FTEB SPD Permit No. 14630 Series of 2017.
