If there’s an expression and feeling that I am having right now, it is to crave and drool at the latest FUJIFILM mirrorless cameras that were recently launched in the Philippines.
Owning an X-PRO2 is like targeting a lotto jackpot. I’m never in my life would ever imagine if I will be able to afford and buy an X-PRO2 which is one of the flagship camera that FUJIFILM is introducing this year.
Maybe I’ll just consider the X70 or X-E2s.
But given the fact that X-PRO2 offers key features like a.) Newly developed 24.3MP X-Trans CMOS III sensor, b.) New high-performance X Processor Pro image processing engine, c.) The world’s first Advanced Hybrid Multi Viewfinder offering the benefits of both optical and electronic viewfinders, d.) New focal plane shutter with a top speed of 1/8000 sec. and flash sync up to 1/250 sec., and e.) New robust, weather resistant body that meets the need of professional photographers, it’s hard not to entertain the thoughts of having the X-PRO2 in my hands.
FUJIFILM has broken the boundary where people were once excited with the bulky dslr units. It even became a trend that everyone jumped into buying dslr.
And now, it drastically shifted and became a reality that dslr is not a convenient choice especially for people who bring their cameras almost everywhere.
Mirrorles has become the solution because it’s compact and light, and since the introduction of the FUJIFILM X Series, more and more people are now choosing mirrorless cameras.
Mirrorless camera might be expensive. But knowing what you’re getting at, it could change your mind and start shooting with a FUJIFILM X-Series camera.
If you prefer a premium digital camera that has a FUJINON 18.5mm/F2.8 lens perfect for landscapes and snapshots, then maybe, we can stick to X70 – the smallest and lightest X-Series model with an APS-sized sensor.
X70 is the first X-Series model to offer touchscreen display that rotates 180 degrees enabling users to shoot from up high, down low, and capture the perfect selfies.
I think this one will attract more buyers. Not just because of price affordability but also for its selfie doability.
Another X-Series that was launched is X-E2s, the modified version of the X-E2 adding new features including an improvised grip, an electronic shutter, and a more intuitive GUI to enhance the user experience.
For those who already owned an X-E2, you might want to just wait for the Firmware update before cashing out on the X-E2s. But for those who’s just starting, the X-E2s will be a good buy.
The X-PRO2 will be available at PHP 90,990; X70 at PHP 36,990; and X-E2s at PHP 36,990 (body) / PHP 52,990 (with 18-55mm).
Aside from these three mouthwatering cameras, FUJIFILM also launched the FUJINON XF100-400mm/F4.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR as addition to super telephoto zoom.lems option.
The X100-400mm covers a 35mm focal length equivalent of 152-609mm with lens designed for handheld shooting with a 5.0-stop image stabilization system and weighs less than 1.4kg.
The X100-400mm is available at PHP 99,999.
