Globe takes the role as the lead sponsor of the 17th HEAD Graphene XT Junior Tennis Satellite Circuit which will take place in 17 key cities nationwide premiering young Filipino tennis players beginning from March 10 until June 7, 2015.
The most prestigious tennis tournament of its kind, the HEAD Junior Tennis Satellite Circuit has served as the melting pot of local players for 17 years from different regions spearheaded by HEAD Philippines. The 17th HEAD Graphene XT Junior Tennis Satellite Circuit participants will earn ranking points from Philippine Tennis Association (PHILTA).
“With a lot of pride, Globe is honored to take part in a very worthwhile endeavor to discover the next great big talents (in tennis),” said Globe Vice President for Mobile Cluster Sales Albert Tinio.
“Participating in major sports activities is an avenue for us to manifest our desire to create a wonderful world for the Filipinos. Globe would like to make inroads (in the sports of tennis) through our team-up with HEAD Philippines on the Junior Tennis Satellite Circuit. Just as we have supported other similar engagements such as ‘Football Para sa Bayan’ advocacy, we know we can make a difference to our budding tennisters who have the innate talent, spirit, and passion to make it big in the tennis circuits not only here but also abroad.”
Registrations is on-going and fee is Php 300 per category. The singles and doubles events will be played in different age categories: 10-years old and under (unisex), 12-and-under (boys), 14-and-under (boys), 16-and-under (boys), 18-and-under (boys), 12-and-under (girls), 14-and-under (girls), 16-and-under (girls), and 18-under (girls).
