You’ll be surprised that Managers from the Oil and Gas Industry are the most paid and with better salaries of Php 74,297 followed by Managers in the Utilities Industry with Php 74,067 and Industrial Machinery Industry, Php 69,063. These are the Top 3 Industries with better salary according to JobStreet.com. These was revealed during JobStreet.com’s new homepage launch held in Makati, Philippines a few days ago.
“Some companies today are not very strict (when it comes to criteria) but once they see the talent (applicants) they’re willing to make some adjustments in their job request to be able to hire particular person. We at JobStreet.com are very excited because once and for all, details of salaries are now readily available,” said Yoda Buyco, Marketing Director, JobStreet.com. “Salary is a basic requirement and we believe it must be known or disclose to applicants,” she continued.
On 4th spot, Managers in the IT Software gets Php 59,678 while BioTech/Pharmaceutical lands on the 5th with Php 57,934.
According to a recent study conducted for JobStreet.com, 67% of the survey respondents across the country say that “a good/high paying salary makes them want to apply to a job.” With the help of JobStreet.com’s new feature called Salary Matching, candidates can now see which jobs, companies, and industries give better pay.

6th – BPO Php 57,688
7th – Transportation/Logistics Php 51,685
8th – Manufacturing Php 48,764
9th – Insurance Php48,758

Supervisors from the Utilities Industry receive Php 50,411 and beats those who are in the IT Software (Php 34,679), BPO (Php 33,691), Telecoms (Php 29,041), Banking & Finance (Php 28,779), Advertising (php 28,328), and Hotel (Php26,952) when it comes to better salary.
Junior Executives in the NGO Industry ranks first with Php 25,697 and those in the Media lands on the 10th place with Php 18,853.
The list of jobs with the better salaries has been determined through the identification of the average salary of all industry per position level, based on actual salaries posted on JobStreet.com.ph from September 1 – November 30, 2013. Basic salaries used did not include other forms of compesation such as leave credits, medical benefits, insurance, and incentives.
