Globe made an exciting announcement a couple of weeks back, and by now, we guessed, you’ve already joined the community. If not, it’s better to hop-in and be part of the newest online Globe Community, which is happening now, as we speak.
Globe aims to make their subscribers and customer representative experience when they interact alongside Globe’s basic Prepaid and Postpaid plans more personalize – like GoSAKTO; and humanize the subscriber-customer representative service. Empower the customer to self-service and premium deals, are just two of the many things that Globe offers.
And part of their continuing effort to give better services, the Globe Community was born. Glenn Ong, Head, Digital Communication and Self-Service together with Chris Lipman, Head, Customer Experience, and a pool of Community Moderators, introduced Globe Community, a very first in the local telco industry using world-class tool – Lithium. The Globe Community, side by side with biggest company in the world will gamify members experience to become more active. Like what the Globe officials said, “Explore. Answer. Learn.”
The Globe Community
Basically, it’s a forum. It queues from topics and discussions brought up by members (non-members are always allowed to join) which make one big online community. It’s a page where users can interact with fellow Globe subscribers, asked some questions about their Globe products, from their Tattoo stick, Prepaid and Postpaid queries, reporting scams, retaining their SIM, the LTE coverage, and a lot of topics where members need to know more about.
Registering to the Globe Community can be either through registration on-site or simply connecting your Facebook account for easy log-in.
This author, (SosyalManila on the Globe Community), together with Chuckie Dreyfus (chuckiedreyfus), the gadget-geek and a dad; Noelle de Guzman (noelledeg), the Kikay Runner; and a bunch of fun and helpful people are proud to be one of the pioneering batch of Globe Community.
We rose from the Pupil stage to Beginner, and now we are in the Apprentice mode. You’ll be surprise of what this community does just by joining in the discussions. One exciting part is getting the Thumbs Up from another member, which is one of the fun part of this community. Now, everyone’s goal is to keep up his or her name on the Thumbs Up Club!

A member gets the Thumbs Up or gets Thumbed Up when another member press the Thumbs Up button found at the recent post or reply of a member. The reply gets a green highlight when it’s marked as Solved as it contributed a solution to a problem or question.
