Clearly getting closer 18 months away from the 2016 presidential election, the incumbent faces a lot of controversies to deal up under his sleeves. The recent covert military mission was technically a success, although lives were put at risks and endangered a lot of civilians.
His leadership is taunted with mistrust from the people whom he thought were his allies. They strongly have spoken up and tells him they are not backing him up in the next presidential election. They believed it’s what’s best for the party. No one in his cabinet wants him back in the Oval Office. They wanted him out of the 2016 presidential election. That was a sad day for a president.
What happens next? Should he quit or resign immediately and save his face from total disgrace?
Frank Underwood is a clever and manipulative politician. He can’t be put down just like that. He has that strength to twist people’s mind, especially those who think he’s just a regular politician. One tearful sex is enough for him to get his groove back in the business.
From the start since he became congressman and up to this day holding a position as non-president elect of the United States, what Frank wants, Franks gets. He will not waste precious time of not having that shot for another presidential term. He just wont quit.
His solution? Gather the media and go live on national television to tell the public that he has no interest in running for president come 2016! At least, that’s what Pres. Underwood would want them to believe.
“I will not be seeking the Democratic nomination in 2016,” he said in an address to the nation. “I’d rather leave this office accomplishing something of value.”
Nay or yay?
Trust, Frank. He knows how to play the House of Cards. Catch these moments on #HouseOfCards Season 3 Chapter 28.
See brand new episodes of House of Cards every Wednesdays, 9:55 PM only at RTL-CBS.
House of Cards stars Kevin Spacey as Pres. Frank Underwood and Robin Wright as First Lady Claire Underwood.
Wait. Did you think we were talking about another president? He should get some pointers from Frank Underwood.
Season 3 and Pussy Riot
Season 3 also features a Putin-alike Russian leader refusing to shake Frank’s hand at a press conference in one of House of Cards’ episode, and later forcefully snogging Frank’s wife Claire at an official function. There’s also cameo appearances of Pussy Riot‘s Nadezhda “Nadya” Tolokonnikova and Maria “Masha” Alyokhina playing as themselves.
