LIV CONFRONTS BLAINE ABOUT THEIR ZOMBIE 'DISEASE'.

iZombie is the next Buffy in the making

Liv Moore, such a catchy name for a medical resident who is a zombie. Yes folks. The ‘Liv Moore’ is the main character in the new all-Warner TV show iZombie which premiered last March 18 and is undoubtedly a good DC Comics Vertigo adaptation for TV series.

I’ve already seen the first two episodes and I can tell you that iZombie is like Buffy the Vampire Slayer meets Grimm in the making, totally and almost with the same bizarre story line in each and every episodes to the realm of supernatural. Wait… You haven’t heard of Buffy?

Anyways, iZombie stars the cute Rose McIver as the 25-year old Liv, who became a zombie after attending a party, leaving her no choice but to break her engagement with boyfriend, Major (played by Robert Buckley). Liv works in a morgue with her boss Dr. Ravi Chakrabarti (Rahul Kohli) who knew her secret since day one.

iZombie is a one-hour crime solving drama series with bits of humor co-created and executive produced by Veronica Mars’ Rob Thomas and Diane Ruggiero-Wright. Loosely based on a DC Comics series of the same name, iZombie.

Liv woke up one day discovering that she became one of the ‘undead’ after attending a party where she met Blaine DeBeers (David Anders), A drug dealer-turned-zombie whose experimental drug caused the zombie outbreak. Liv accidentally found out that she can help in solving crimes by feeding her appetite with human brains of related crime corpse victims. She became a partner to Seattle PD detective Clive Babinaux (Malcolm Goodwin) who sought for help after believing that she has a gift of psychic ‘vision’ powers. It turns out that whenever Liv ate some human brain part, she actually take those people’s inner thoughts and what they were before they’ve died. Solving crimes and mysteries, and rescuing people, just like Buffy!

Hey, don’t take our words for it. Even Rob believes that iZombie is more like Buffy. See the article here http://io9.com/rob-thomas-explains-why-izombie-is-more-like-buffy-than-1614649263.

I really like this show because it’s relax and chill continuity. It’s not too dark but I admit it’s kinda gross seeing someone eats a human brain. It has the humor of Buffy but without the seriousness of The Walking Dead.

I also like David coming to this show because he is a great actor for such supernatural stories. I saw him first during his portrayal as the villain Adam Monroe in the Heroes series. He’s a great and convincing villain. By the way, heard from the grapevine that Hereos will be returning as Heroes: Reborn this 2015.
