Introducing the Chicken Parmigiana of Angel’s Pizza.

People know Angel’s Pizza as just a simple pizza and pasta place but many don’t know that they were the former Domino’s Pizza back in the day. Every time my family ordered pizza from them I feel very nostalgic when I’m eating a piece since I remember my childhood memories of rushing down the school corridors and to the canteen of our school to order a slice of Domino’s which is mostly my staple snack for recess.

Last July 12, 2013, I had a chance to visit Angel’s Pizza at Makati Avenue to sample their newest pizza flavor, which is the Chicken Parmigiana. The pizza consist of fresh tomatoes, chicken, Culinary Sauce or their special cream sauce and of course the cheese which is a combination of mozzarella and cheddar.

They served two of the pizza variety, one is the original hand rolled and the thin crust.

I grabbed a slice of the hand rolled pizza. The chicken on the pizza has a small kick of spice on it similar to a dry rubbed grilled barbecue because of the spice, which gives its refreshing taste coupled by the crunchiness of the fresh tomatoes the richness of the culinary sauce and the cheese it makes the food in your come alive and not to mention their signature which is the dough itself. Every bite of the hand rolled pizza was a great nostalgic feeling since the taste of it really brings back good old memories.

After that I took a piece of the thin crust style pizza.  It has the same taste but the dough in my opinion, needs to be crunchier since the feel of it every bite feels flaky and not thin and crunchy if you were to compare it with different brands. In my honest opinion, the hand rolled of Angel’s tops my list if I would get a box of pizza or two.
