Barely three days to go (in the US), and all excited Apple fans will be greeted with new iPhones, new iPads, and updated Apple TV as soon as the unveiling of the new products goes hot on social media.
So what are we going to expect come September 9?
On September 9, 2015, Apple will unveil a new and upgraded set of iPhone 6S and 6S Plus at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, a mulit-purpose arena in San Francisco, California that can hold 7,000 seaters.
New iPhone size?
Well, if we are going to rely on Apple’s iPhone 2-year tradition design cycle, the new phones will still have the phablet-sized design look from the previous iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.
Build and design
Since there will be no much of a difference from last year’s iPhone, the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus are expected to have the same metal round edges design. According to 9to5Mac, the new iPhone 7 will be sporting the 6-6.5mm thickness Apple apparently wants for the new design. Expect it to be super thin compared to iPhone 6 and 6 Plus which are 6.9 and 7.1mm, respectively
Under the hood
- Faster A9 chipset
- Possibly a 2GB of RAM
- 12 megapixel sensor
- FaceTime camera sensor upgrade
- 4K support for video recording
Aside from the gold, silver, and grey metallic tones, the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus may be brandishing a light and favorable ‘pinkish’ shade that will generate more sales from Hello Kitty fans.
So that’s it. Make sure to catch the unveiling by Wednesday.
