Not to be confused with the Jinjiang Hotels (Jinjiang Fandian), Jinjiang Inns is also one of the subsidiaries of Jinjiang International that operates as a large tourism enterprise in China. The Jinjiang Inns opened two branches in the Philippines which are located in Ortigas and Makati. In the Philippines, the Jinjiang Inns are managed under the same company that owned and operates Hotel 101 and Injap Tower (Iloilo), that is Hotel of Asia, Inc. We’ve been to Injap Tower and it’s a beautiful spot to stay when in Iloilo because it’s in the heart of the city and just right across the SM City Iloilo.
Recently, we were able to join the Chinese New Year at Jinjiang Inn – Ortigas when they welcomed the Year of the Rooster last January 28. It was a perfect celebration for the Chinese brand that featured a Lion Dance that was performed outside the lobby of the 3-star full-service hotel and inside their 90 spacious rooms. By the way, Jinjiang Inn – Ortigas has a very easy access within Metro Manila as it is located near SM Megamall, the MRT stations, and 11.9 km away from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
I’ve heard a lot about Jinjiang Inns (Makati and Ortigas) and it piqued the interest in me to book a stay in the near future.
Jinjiang Inns are perfect for travelers and businessmen. They also have great restaurants where guests can enjoy Chinese and Asian cuisine without going out very far. Jinjiang Inn Makati has Choi Garden while Jinjiang Inn Ortigas has Five Spice Asian Bistro. We had our Chinese New Year lunch at Five Spice.
I’ve also found out from reading reviews from blogs and websites like from Seph Cham and Psst that one of the coolest thing about the Jinjiang Inn properties is the minibar. They wrote that the minibar is not over-priced and guests wont worry about having their kids getting a can of Coke because it doesn’t cost more than a hundred. This is a welcome thing for guests who doesn’t want going out of their rooms and prefer staying in all day.
