Representing Pinoy pride and the love for the country, both Jollibee and the Philippine Rugby Footbal Union signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) last April 10, 2017 at the Jollibee Plaza in Ortigas, Pasig City. Present in the union were Philippine Rugby Footbal Union, Inc. Treasurer, William Bailey and Jollibee Global Brand Chief Marketing Officer Francis Flores, in the presence of PRFU National Team Head Jake Letts and Jollibee Philippines Brand Communications PR Director Arline Adeva. The program was moderated by Jollibee Philippines Brand Communications Digital PR Cat Triviño.
The partnership enclosed the presence of Jollibee branding on PRFU’s Get Into Rugby Program kit. PRFU will aslo participate in Jollibee corporate events; recognize Jollibee as a Sponsor of the PRFU leagues through collateral exposure and announcements; and announce Jollibee on PRFU website and digital assets.
“Jollibee being the most-loved Filipino brand, a brand that brings pride to the country, we also want to partner with people, teams, who also bring pride to our country. This is why we really support national teams who will bring the Philippine flag wherever they go. Just like Jollibee, we bring joy and pride to a lot of Filipinos,” said Flores before the official signing of the MOA transpired Monday afternoon.
“When such a big name, when such a big local brand comes in (as partner), that motivates our entire organization,” answered Bailey when we asked how this exciting partnership upped the motivation for the entire PRFU.
The MOA signing took shortly and everyone in the room applauded this occasion.
