International pop-superstar Justin Bieber earned back the love and respect from his Filipino fans when he, without much fanfare, visited the Typhoon Yolanda affected communities in Tacloban City, Tuesday morning, December 10, via private jet, reportedly owned by local comedian and host, Willie Revillame. Photos of the young star posted on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook showed Justin kissing and playing hoops (read: basketball) with the kids from Tacloban that showed an warmth gesture brought by the young superstar for the Philippines.
The visit was part of his #GiveBackPhilippines campaign to generate funds for Yolanda survivors. Through his Twitter account and various websites, he has called on his fans to come together to help the Filipinos badly affected by the super typhoon. The visit was also dubbed as the ‘last leg‘ of his Belieber Tour. The visit was supposed to scheduled to stay in Tacloban until about 5 p.m., and will head back to Manila before leaving the country at around 11 p.m., the Bureau of Immigration (BI) said.
