We’ve just got hold of the latest Kata featured smartphone model, the F1s and we would like to share with you guys few details of what to expect inside the box of Kata F1s. Here’s our unboxing and first impression of the Kata F1s.
If you’re already using a Kata F1, you’ll see that there aren’t much that change in this unit except that it is the upgrade of the F1 model. Same Kata house box and pretty much similar of what’s inside the box of a Kata F1.
Upon unboxing, you’ll see the standard accessories of a smartphone like the USB micro cable and plug fro charging; the manual; battery – which is 1,550mAh, and the headset.
Our first impression is it does looks like Kata F1s is getting better from the previous Kata units that we’ve unboxed so far. It has the same carbon-like matte finish similar to Kata M2 back casing. (RELATED: Kata M2 Quad Core phablet specs, price, and review)
Kata F1s has a comfortable-ease of holding and carrying the unit. Though it only has a 4.5-inch display with 540 x 960 screen dimension, it is still bigger when compared to units like the iPhone 5C which only has a 4-inch screen size, and for us will be a big advantage especially when you’re typing words on the screen. Our only concern is the battery life. We’ll see what we can do with our Kata F1s once we got it fully-charged and began using it for a day.
Kata F1s has a 8MP rear camera and 5MP front for your selfie. F1s comes with Android KitKat 4.4 and for those who’ll like be asking the OTG functionality, will be disappointed because it is disabled for this unit model.
Price point is good at Php 4,499 for a smartphone accessorized with 1.3GHz MTK MT6582 Quad Core processor, dual SIM (for micro and regular SIM card), 1GB of RAM and 8 GB internal storage expandable via micro-SD, and with FREE 10GB Kata Cloud storage.
Kata F1s comes in colors White, Yellow, and Black.
Public release will happen on October 20, 2014 so you better watch out for the announcement. Keep updating by visiting Kata Philippines Facebook www.facebook.com/katadigitalcom or join Kata F1s (Official Group) on Facebook.
