A Hong Kong-based company, Lalamove began its operation since 2013 and grew to 81 cities in China and Asia – including Manila, Philippines.
In the Philippines, Lalamove already has more than 800 partner-drivers who can pick and deliver your items within Metro Manila and outskirts such as in Cavite area.
Lalamove is soon to be expanding their reach as far in the north and southern part of the metro to service customers’ needs like sending parcels or packages to friends and clients.
Lalamove is also offering ‘lipat-bahay’ service to move your household items into your new home.
Lalamove ‘moves’ via motorcycles and vans. Soon, they’ll be adding trucks into their fleet of delivery service vehicles. Rates are based on the distance of the point-to-point destination.
Understanding that their service is heavily dependent on tech users, they have now introduced to the public a new app design which they hope will not only entice new customers, but to make the experience of booking their services as seamless and enjoyable as possible.
The new design features the logo of a humming bird which signifies the swiftness by which Lalamove operates. The aesthetic design was also revamped to make it more appealing for the user during interface. The new version also looks cleaner, providing the customer with a less-cluttered experience when booking.
The new app design also allows access to a customer’s contact book so one can link the number and details of that contact to the on-going order.
Lalamove makes the experience not only faster and quicker but secures as well. The app makes sure that the driver making the pick-up and drop-off can be tracked real time on customer’s screen for security during every transaction.
Albert Go, Country Director, Lalamove, knows too well that while technology is their prime enabler, it is just one facet of their business.
