LG LEON 5/5 REVIEW RATING

LG‘s latest entrant for the budget-friendly and affordable-thinking consumers easily slips a light and convenient functionalities with LG Leon, the basic phone made for people who are not much hyped with all the super packed mid-ranged or premium phones available in the market today.

LG Leon may not be the all-packaged smartphone you’ll ever wanted BUT it is built with light and convenient functionalities you’ll ever need for your daily use. For one, LG Leon has 1.3 GHz Quad Core processor, that some of the mid-range and premium phones already have.

LG’s special feature KNOCK code is also incorporated with LG Leon that will standout from the rather usual type of basic smartphones being sold today. It’s brand name, LG, already speaks for itself.

Design, Build, and Display

LG Leon’s design is compact, small (at 129.9 x 64.9 x 10.9mm) and built for easy grip. Front display is FWVGA at 220ppi and pretty much compatible with the 4.5-inch screen which delivers valued on-screen resolution.

Volume rocker and power button are all located at the back plastic-finished curved casing panel. Both side panels are clean leaving the user a whole feel of the grip of the LG Leon.

Picture quality for the 8MP rear camera works very well especially on good lighting conditions. This does not equate much with the front VGA camera.

Here are samples of the photos we took from LG Leon’s 8MP rear camera.

Battery life

We began using LG Leon not as our back-up phone but as our main driver for our daily use. Mobile data was not our priority but on the most part,  we used LG Leon for calls and SMS. We are surprised to say that on stand-by we can leave our phone for the remaining 48 hours. It’s a great deal for its Li-Ion 1900mAh removable battery. It’s cool to say that LG Leon doesn’t drain its battery that fast unlike other smartphones with the same battery capacity.
