LG MAGNA REAR KEY AND DUAL SIM FEATURE

Here’s our LG Magna review and what we liked about it

We’ve had the LG Leon here in our blog, now it’s time for its big sister (or bro), the LG Magna for us to show you what to expect of this LG handset.

Unbox

First out of the box, we have the unit LG Magna, 2540mAh removable battery, travel adapter, USB cable, earphones, the quick start guide, and the warranty card.

The box is almost similar to LG Leon’s with bright colors that definitely is an LG make.

Review

So we took LG Magna for a spin and here’s our review.

Like the other LG handsets, LG Magna is equipped with its unique KNOCK code feature which makes the handset more easy to use and navigate from turning it on and powering it off. Like LG Leon, LG Magna has a 8MP rear camera plus the 5MP front facing camera on a 5-inch  720 x 1280 IPS LCD capacitive touch display of 16M colors; with 1GB RAM, 8 GB expandable up to 32G microSD. Same with LG Leon, LG Magna runs on 1.3GHz Quad Core Processor.

We like the capacitive button selection which lets you choose the arrangement how you want them to look in your home screen.

The 5 inch display with body dimension of 139.8 x 69.9 x 10.1 mm (5.50 x 2.75 x 0.40 in) is almost the exact body size that we are looking for a smartphone right now. We don’t want our device too small and too big to handle. So this is near perfect.

LG Magna has a lightweight body 137g (4.83oz) and gently curved design which you can fit easily on your pocket.

LG Magna is a Dual SIM Smartphone GSM / HSPA / LTE. Don’t worry guys. It’s both capable of the Micro SIM and it’s not a nano SIM card slot.

LG Magna’s sound quality is very much decent plus it has an innovative UI to start off. There are quite of preinstalled app on LG Magna and you can add more by simply installing from the Google Play Store.

The 2540mAh battery is also good with lasting performance.

By the way, LG Magna doesn’t have those power buttons and volume rocker on each side of the device. Instead, they are located at the back cover where the Rear Key feature is found.
