And because it’s Women’s Month, it’s about time we get to take a look at the powerful women in Netflix’s House of Cards Season 4.
But before we go on and if you’re a fan (or not), we remind you that this post contains spoilers you wouldn’t want to know. Unless you’ve seen the full Season 4 when it was aired on RTL CBS Entertainment last March 5, then you’re welcome to read on.
Let’s start with Daisy Jones. She is one of a hell feisty Congresswoman from Texas and she aint backing out from politics without giving her daughter, Celia, a chance for the congressional seat once she step down from the position.
Celia Jones, even though she thought that she’ll be throwing support to Claire, she was ecstatic when she heard straight from the president’s mouth that the government will be supporting her in her congressional candidacy. But of course, Celia and her mom’s relationship with the President might turn too sour because of that KKK photo.
Newcomer Leann is not a woman to be taken lightly. Even though Remy knew something about her, she’s quick to retaliate that she also knows something about Remy. For goodness gracious sake, Campbell is ageing gracefully and more beautiful than The Craft days.
Elizabeth Hale is a stubborn but tough old lady. She despises Frank so much that she’d rather see her daughter fights the President back than support his son-in-law’s presidential bid. And what did she say to Claire on Episode 4? “I hope he (Frank) dies!”
Zoe Barns appears on Franks dream. Is she back to haunt Frank for good to make him pay for all the sinister things he plotted ever since? This we’ve got to see. Too bad she got killed off early.
As for Dunbar, Catherine, and Jackie, they both had their moments. Too bad they’re not as powerful (and evil) as Claire.
And Claire Underwood? Well, she’s tough. Very tough. And evil. She wont back down. So what if Frank derailed her dreams of grabbing that Texas seat. She’s still the First Lady of the United States. And for what’s coming up, a vice president seat could be a much better choice than just a congressional seat.
RTL CBS Entertainment previously shown all 13 episodes of the fourth season of House of cards last March 5, the same day as the release of the series in the U.S.
“The fourth season of House of Cards is highly-anticipated by viewers in the region and we are very excited to bring the brand new season to this part of the world first and exclusive within 12 hours of its release in the U.S.,” says Jennifer Batty, EVP Programming, RTL CBS Asia Entertainment Network.
House of Cards follows the ruthless and cunning, Francis Underwood (Kevin Spacey) and his wife Claire (Robin Wright) as they stop at nothing to conquer everything. Underwood has risen from House Majority Whip to president of the United States of America. His wife Vlaire plays the dutiful wife with her own political ambitions. This wicked political drama penetrates the shadowy world of greed, sex, and corruption in modern Washington D.C.
If you’ve missed the 13 episodes marathon, House of Cards weekly chaptersodics aired every Tuesday evening beginning on March 8 at 9:55PM on RTL CBS Entertainment HD.
“RTL CBS Entertainment HD is the only place where fans can see the new season of House of Cards,” said Jonas Engwall, CEO, RTL CBS Entertainment Network.
