Las Vegas, New York, Miami Beach, Singapore, and New York have it, so why can’t Manila have it too?
For the past two years, Manila witnessed an emergence of nightlife hubs that posed as magnets to partyphiles. But just when it seemed that everyone has seen everything, a new entertainment mecca opens its door to welcome the elite party scene of Manila.
Conceptualized in the creative mind of club king Michael Van Cleef Ault, Pangaea Ultra Lounge comes to the Philippines with only the best of the world to offer. The name itself means “All Worlds”, and this places Pangaea in the middle of the amalgam of all the marvelous markets that this planet has to offer.
When asked on why Manila became the choice of Pangaea’ s dwellings, Ault relates, “We came to Manila for the sole purpose of fulfilling our promise to The Melco Crown, City of Dreams, and a promise to Lawrence Ho, to be the cap stone of their entertainment offerings. And, or course, to bring Manila onto the nightlife industry’s world-stage.“
“Manila has grown and developed in such a way as to be ready for a mega project like the City of Dreams. And since the COD has a massive entertainment portfolio, why not include the Ferrari of Nightclubs.”
The resemblance to the luxury car is apt, for Pangaea’s interiors exude a distinct exotic flair. “Imagine a man, who is a synthesis of the infamous 19th Century, Charles Darwin, with a modern man, who is an insatiable collector.“ The richness of Van Cleef Ault’s words will prove to be at par once you find yourself inside Pangaea. Its colours are exquisite, the lighting are perfect for the hushed and intimate conversations. “Pangaea at The City of Dreams at Melco Crown will be the most exotic, eccentric, and awe inspiring Pangaea yet built and will go far beyond when it comes to sheer creativity and a masterful design. No club on the planet will rival it.”
Complementing the lush interiors are the attractions that will give Pangaea its boost when it comes to customer service. Albeit indescribable, Van Cleef Ault promises that a night at the Pangaea will be mesmerizing and unforgettable. The music also caters to a larger audience due to the Open Format. Open Format originated in Miami, and soon became the mix of choice in Vegas and New York. It is a mix of music from the 1970’s, 80’s, 90’s, 2000’s, and contemporary music, which includes Rock & Roll, Hip Hop, Acid Jazz, Electro Lounge, House, and Trance Music.
With all these features, it sure sets Pangaea on a different plane. “Expect an Ultra-Lounge that dominated such highly competitive markets as New York, Miami, Spain, Singapore, London and many other markets.”
But Van Cleef Ault stresses that despite sharing the same foundation with more high-end brands, Pangaea at City of Dreams Manila will be a league of its own. “We want to be accessible to Manila’s elite and we understand that each market is markedly different. Our goal is to create a ‘Manila Pangaea.”
