Manny Pacquiao has come back! The “PacMan” defeated Brandon “Bam Bam” Rios by a unanimous decision with score cards of the judges all in favor of the now WBO International Welterweight champion as the two boxers belted out in the four square of CotaiArena of The Venetian Macao, on the Cotai Strip, in Macau.
Despite his age, the 34-year old boxer from GenSan proved once more that he’s time in the ring is not yet over as he toppled his 27-year old opponent on the Pacquiao Vs. Rios Fight As One match in November 24. “This is not about my comeback,” he said during the post-fight interview. “This is about my people’s comeback from a natural disaster and a natural tragedy.”
“I’m so happy,” Pacquiao shared. “Because my time is not over.”
Pacquiao‘s victory is crucial to all Filipinos watching. Everyone knows that the Philippines was devastated by Super Typhoon Yolanda and Manny winning the match is a big boost for the country. Now, the children of Tacloban can mimic Manny’s moves and play shadow boxing amidst the rubble brought by Yolanda.

International celebrities David Beckham and Paris Hilton were also seen rooting for Manny. Miguel Cotto, whom Manny defeated in 2009 watched the two fighters from the ringside.
