Interactive Workshop on Automotive Photography: The Mazda KODO Drive
Last January 22-23, media men from different platforms joined and team-up for a 2-Day Interactive Workshop on Automotive Photography: The Mazda KODO Drive, featuring the Mazda 6, the all-new Mazda 3 SKYACTIV, and the CX-5 to Green Canyon in Clark, Pampanga with actual classroom session and photo sessions presented by Michael ‘Mikko’ Angelo David of Top Gear Philippines.
Exciting prizes were given away to the Top 3 winners from 3 Categories: Basic Pose, Details, and KODO in Motion; and also for the over-all team winner. All prizes were sponsored by Fujifilm Philippines.
The event started with brief introduction and send-off at Mazda Pasig by Mazda Philippines President and CEO Steven Tan on an early Thursday morning participated by automotive media practitioners (both online and print publications) and social media bloggers covering wide range of events in the country from travel to lifestyle and are skilled photographer in their fields.
Green Canyon Resort Shooting Exercise
The battleground, so to speak, was held at the vicinity of Green Canyon Resort located at San Vicente Road, Clark Special Economic Zone (SACOBIA) in Bamban, Pampanga with shooting exercises on Day 1 and Summary, Critique of Top 3, and Announcement of Winners on Day 2. The prizes that were given away by Fujifilm Philippines were 9 Instax Mini 8 (for Top 3 category winners) and 3 units of Fujifilm X30 (for the team with the most number of points with one camera for each member).

KODO – Soul of Motion
Mazda Philippines thought of this one-of-a-kind automotive event not only to mix and pair media participants coming from different niche but also to showcase the pure form and inspired expression of Mazda’s ‘KODO – Soul of Motion’ and the innovative SKYACTIV TECHNOLOGY developed under the company’s long-term vision for technology development, Sustainable Zoom-Zoom. The SKYACTIV TECHNOLOGY name is intended to reflect Mazda’s desire to provide driving pleasure and fuel efficiency as well as outstanding environmental and safety performance in its vehicles.
