From the people behind Mercato Centrale, Mezza Norte and among others, now comes Carnivale – a gastronomical food feast combining street food and favorite top Pinoy delicacies at Venice Piazza in McKinley Hills, Fort Bonifacio in Taguig. Rj Ledesma and Anton Diaz‘s brainchild has become popular especially from those working in the graveyard shift – the call center agents.
Yet it’s a mixture of people from walks of life who visits this place who gets the most out of it and they are sure to enjoy the tastiest and newest food products that merchants offered in Carnivale.
Carnivale, dubbed as Mercato‘s first ‘EAT-SHOP-FUN’ night market started last December 12 and is open from 6 PM up to 3 AM every Thursdays and Fridays. Most of the merchants here are first-timers in the food business or have been with the group of Ledesma and Diaz since the inception of Mercato.
Food choices are from the all time favorite isaw, pork barbecue to the staple meals with rice like adobo, bagnet, grilled seafood, and many more.
Carnivale is also a perfect venue for entrepreneur sisters who happens to be the owner of TAMA YAKI – a branded takoyaki snack food that is very popular in Japan and franchised by the siblings from China.
Aside from food, customers are treated with a night of entertainers from circus-clad performers to acoustic bands gracing the venue to delight each and everyone in the crowd.
Places like these gets full-packed as the night reach its peak hours so if you’re planning to visit Carnivale, make sure to come early to get your seats ahead of other foodies coming in.
