“Just play, not pay,” says the tagline for MovieClub, a free to download video-on-demand that features a vault for Filipino content such as content creators, studio libraries, film festivals, local and foreign award winners, and independent films. The best part of it, it’s free!
Yup, you don’t have to pay for subscription. It’s absolutely free to watch and download Filipino movies, locally and independently produced, local TV series, music videos, news, and sports. All you have to do is download the app via Google Play. It’s not yet available on Apple Store. You’ll have to wait if you’re using an iPhone or iPads. The app is still on the development of its iOS and web versions.
After installing the app on your device, login your Facebook account or set-up a new MovieClub account using your email address. And that’s it. You can now enjoy and add selections to your “Movie Bucket”.
That’s what MovieClub offers for its viewers. On the other hand, advertisers get a cost-effective ad placement with low minimum spends, low cost per views, and very high degree of measurability. We are mentioning this because through ad subscriptions, viewers will be able to enjoy more contents as the audience and advertisers grow on this mobile platform. It’s a win-win situation on all sides, the viewers, advertisers, and MovieClub.
