It is just so fitting that the coffee brand we all grew up and loved, Nescafé gives back the love to their 2 million fans as they reciprocate through a special occasion to share millions of memories together with a celebration full of fun, surprises, interactive photo and video booths, games, variety shows and pocket concert.
Dubbed as Fans Day held last November 17, 2012 at SM Mall of Asia Music Hall, this event was initiated by Nescafé to reward all those 2 million fans who LIKED them on Facebook.
It is indeed a milestone as Nescafé sets the record as the no. 1 brand page in the Philippines, growing daily by over 3,000 likes.
The brand page was launched on Facebook on July 8, 2009; in December 2011, it reached the 1 million mark, an shortly a year after, on October 23, it reached 2 million likes.
Chris Stern, Business Executive Manager, Nescafé Philippines and his boss John, thanked all the fans who supported them, sending the message through a press conference held at Ebun restaurant.

To cap the celebration, popular celebrities and bands appeared an performed which started in the afternoon and lasted until the evening. YouTube sensation and comedienne Petra Mahalimuyak joined the fun together with Frank Magalona, Survivor Philippines castaways Betong and Maey, sports enthusiasts Drew Arellano, and bands Callalily, 6cyclemind, and Urbandub staged a live performance.
“This event is not possible without the fans that supported as all the way. We really appreciate what the digital and social media did for us and through this simple celebration we give back the love to you,” says Chris.
“Enjoy a perfect day by starting Nescafé Classic in the morning; 3-in-1 in the afternoon; and Decaf by night time,” added Chris before closing the press conference.
