After two years of being away from exciting the Manila crowd, Ocean Park Hong Kong is back to invite everyone for a Spook-tastic Halloween Fest coming this October 2014. Ocean Park Hong Kong ranks as the 12th in the world; 4th in Asia; and 1st in China when it comes to attendance and guests coming in this world-class theme park experience.
During the Ocean Park Trade-Media Launch held at Makati Shangri-La last September 11, hosted by Sam YG, Ocean Park Hong Kong unveiled its upcoming seasonal attraction for this year’s all-day-and-night Ocean Park Halloween Fest. Ocean Park Hong Kong Chief Executive Tom Mehrmann was dressed in a scary zombie-like Elvis Presley while Executive Director for Hotel and Hospitality, Paul Pei, dressed himself like a rock ‘n’ roll star who just came from his grave. The management team of Ocean Park Hong Kong flew in from HK to Manila to personally share the exciting details of the wide array of spooky attractions, new development plans, and to express appreciation to its Filipino guests for their continued support. There has been a 10% year-on-year increase in attendance by Filipino guests in 2013-2014.

Spook-tastic Halloween Fest
Ocean Park All-Day-And-Night Halloween Fest starts from Sept. 14 – Oct. 31, 2014. This is regarded as one of the biggest Halloween celebration in the world, and you only need one ticket to experience double the surprises from day to night.
There’s also this first-ever reservation-only haunted attraction with limited admission and restricted to persons aged 16 or above. Whew! Just by that detail, we already could guess how scary this attraction called H14 will be! H14 is a customized experience adjusted based on each guest’s questionnaire on deepest fears. Woah! we’re getting goosebumps already!
Next is what they call Rigos Mortis LIVE where guests will explore the dilapidated public estate scenes from the movie Rigor Mortis, winner of Best Visual Effects at the Hong Kong Film Awards.
Also in the line-up is the Phantom Studios which one of the two Transforming Attractions in the Park. It transforms to a Horror-wood Studios at night to reveal a new adventure of horror. Guests can rent a selfie camera here to capture their scariest moments.
For those who are not much fan of too much scary surprises, Ocean Park Halloween Fest offers Lite Spooky Surprises such as the Doraemon Halloween Party – it’s the first Doraemon-themed Halloween attraction in the world; Scaremonies presented by Blue Girl Beer; Halloween Fest F&B for those who love to eat and drink; Shark Mystique which was recently opened last June 2014; The Rainforest which is the first attraction integrating water ride and walk-through rainforest exhibit in Southeast Asia; there’s also the South Pole Spectacular where you can see a lot of penguins; and the Get Closer to Animals experience.
