Featherweight bout Wang Ya Wei wins over Sunoto via TKO on Round 3!

An event was held at City of Dreams, Grand Ballroom, for the weigh-ins of the competitors of One Fighting Championship: Valor of Champions for the upcoming event (happening tonight) at the state-of-the-art Mall of Asia Arena in Manila, as well as to welcome Brandon Vera for his ultimate homecoming.

Philippines is home,” said Brandon “The Truth” Vera, a Filipino-American mixed martial artist, who is happy to be back in the country once again. According to him, he has no things lined up to do so he is just like in a vacation here in the country.

Vera is a veteran in Mix Martial Arts (MMA) with one the most diverse skill sets in heavyweight division. Being a decorated kickboxer, wrestler and grappler, he has already proven how great he is in terms of MMA, having the ability and proficiency to take the fight standing or on the ground.

As a part of the event, a question and answer session with Brandon Vera was held.

Bradon "The Truth" Vera answers every question being thrown to him.

Asked about who he wants to be matched with, he frankly answered, “I want to be matched to every single fighter and knock them out in the face.

He also shared two advice incentives to MMA fighters. First, avoiding women is a must, though it’s actually hard according to him, especially if the girl doesn’t support you in your chosen career. Asked if it’s related to his past experience, he honestly said yes. Second, don’t let the fame get to your head, which he also admitted he has done and soon regretted.

After the Q & A portion, the weigh-ins came after.
