Park Jae-Sang or Psy is a South Korean rapper who idolize Eminem, Tupac Shakur, Jay-Z and Dr. Dre, is enjoying the limelight as his “Gangnam Style” music video is fast becoming the most viewed K-Pop video on YouTube history. Since it debuted last July, it gained massive response and has reached over 100 million views within just 2 months. The song is included in PSY’s Best 6th Part 1.
Psy released his first full-length album entitled PSY… From the Psycho World! on 2001. PSY’s Best 6th Part 1 is his 6th under YG Entertainment.
On August 14, “Gangnam Style” ranked first on YouTube’s ‘Most Viewed Videos’ monthly chart. On August 21, 2012, “Gangnam Style” officially charted #1 on the iTunes Music Video Charts, overtaking Justin Bieber’s As Long as You Love Me and Katy Perry’s Wide Awake; this feat is the first for any South Korean artist. Psy himself admits, isn’t even close of being an idol status.

Psy wins International Favorite Award, Best Music Video Award, and Song of the Year Award all for Gangnam Style in the recent 2012 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) held at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Hong Kong last November 30, 2012.
To date, Gangnam Style music video has reached more than 800 million views worldwide. Now, Psy is worried what his next music video is gonna be.
