As a kid and who grew up as a ‘probinsyano’ in Saranggani province, Manny Pacquiao’s dream was to visit Luneta to see the monument of Dr. Jose Rizal.
He did not say when but he recalls his first visit in Luneta as a kid wearing only slippers – because that’s the only foot accessory he can afford during those days. He shared this story as he speaks and demonstrates Google Street View 360° map at the launch held today at Marriott Hotel Grand Ballroom in Pasay City.
Manny Pacquiao was one of the special guest alongside Domingo Ramon Enerio III, Chief Operating Officer, Tourisms Board, who proxied for Department of Tourism Secretary Ramon imenez, Jr. during the launch of Google Street View as presented by Ken Lingan, Country Manager, Google Philippines and Ryan Morales, Head of Consumer Marketing, SEA and Head of Marketing, Google Philippines.
The new rich 360-degree digital imagery of the Philippines will let the people around the world experience sites they may never have a chance to experience in person, including iconic locations and vistas across the country.
