During our last entry, we shared with your our experience when we first arrived at Black Canyon Coffee during the meet-up of Megaworld Fort Great McKinley Hill Lifestyle Experience for the Blogger Event. From there, as we started the WORK Station, we continued the experience of the township at Enderun Colleges. We were able to earn 1-Day Culinary Boot Camp certificate, thanks to Senior Chef Martin Punzalan.
As we finished from our last article, we now jump to the continuation of our whole-day event which brought us outside Megaworld township properties and shortly toured the up and coming The Venice Luxury Residences for the LIVE Station – The Venice Luxury Residences mock-up unit tour. But before we went inside one of the rooms of The Venice Luxury Residences, we stop by in front of Emperador Stadium to get a closer look of the sports stadium built for featured outdoor sports like soccer. During that time there were teams practicing and we just had a brief sight tour of what’s happening in the field.
The development highlights of The Venice Luxury Residences are the seven towers to be turnover and in completion by 2015. Most of the developments were completed in 2013. All seven towers rises from 22 to 31 storeys high with Studio to three-bedroom units ranging from 39.4 to 119.5 sqm. One unique feature of this project is that it was designed by Italian architect Paolo Marioni incorporating Venetian architecture and landscapes. If Da Vinci had Mona Lisa, Megaworld has The Venice…
The Venetian inspiration takes root in the building’s exterior, resembling the shape of a ferro – a gondola’s uniquely shaped iron head. Each of the seven towers is also intricately built and embraced in lush greenery. So for all those wanting the Mediterranean lifestyle, make sure to check out The Venice Luxury Residence and ask for a Megaworld Fort property consultant should you want to ask for more details.
Now that we’ve finished the sneak preview of one of the seven towers, it’s time to relax. The next stop was But first we have to face the PLAY Station Challenge before we dove in an afternoon pampering experience. It’s already almost 3 in the afternoon so we had to move to the next station.
During the PLAY Station Challenge, we were asked to complete a jigsaw puzzle of a photo of the Megaworld township. It wasn’t that difficult and whoever completed first will win this round. Up and we go with the rest of the five teams – same partners who performed during the Enderun Colleges Cooking Challenge.
Well, we thought our team will finished ahead but FPJ who was more familiar with the place completed the challenge first together with his partner Marlon. They both won a Noli Me Tangere The Opera tickets.
And after that challenge, we all had a couple of hours pampering time. Woohoo! And like Royals, we experienced a high-end services from DUTCHESS HAVEN Nail and Salon Spa located at the ground floor of Morgan Suites Executive Residences at McKinley Hill, Upper McKinley Road.
Ian and Ted had their nails pampered via pedicure with paraffin combo with foot spa treatment. This is just one of the Deluxe Services that DUTCHESS offers, The Foot Spa with pedicure/paraffin already costs Php 1,180 which guarantees a satisfactory service from the ladies who serviced us. Some of our colleagues went into the rooms for Facial and Massage. Basic Facial is Php 380 and a Whole Body Massage for only Php 500. We settled for a Back Massage service instead to relieve the tiring muscles we got from the challenges we’ve faced earlier that day.
And for our last stop, we went straight to the SHOP Station after we’ve gotten ourselves feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. During that SHOP experience, we were able to tour once more Megaworld township showroom of units held at The McKinley Hill Information Center. We also got involved in a mini-shop challenge that has an awesome prize of 3 days 2 nights at Fairways & Blue Waters Resort Boracay. Marlon eventually got that winning!
Marco of Megaworld Fort gave us an overview of the McKinley Hill community which include three key projects – Viceroy, The Florence, and The Venice Luxury Residences and the two International schools, Chinese International School and Korean International School, that they have. He also mentioned that there are three foreign embassies in their township: Korean Embassy, British Embassy, and UAE Embassy.
By the way, the heart of McKinley Hill will be transformed into a Venetian Grand Canal Mall with unique selling point and landmark which will be the Grand Canal encompassing from one end to another.
To simply put it, Marco told us that Viceroy is their project for young professionals. It’s also perfect for investors who want to rent-out the units or young professionals who want to have their first investment.
“Parang hotel room,” (It looks like a hotel room) mentioned Annalyn when we toured the unit of Viceroy. “Units like this are easy to rent-out and around two people can actually fit in this room,” Marco explained.
Then we went to The Florence showroom to get a peek of what’s in store for investors. The Florence is McKinley Hill’s first gated garden community, inspired by modern European living. The Florence is a three-tower community with units ranging from 43.1 to 94.7 sqm that brings the beauty of nature to home in a way that is dynamic of healthy and holistic 21st century living. The turnover for this project will be in 2018 and is pre-selling at around Php 5.2 million for the 43.1 sqm backed with 5 years to pay installment plan.
The Venice Luxury Residences
We also visited The Venice three-bedroom unit which has a 119.5 sqm floor area and pre-selling at Php 14-15 million.
All in all, reasons to transfer or have an investment with Megaworld Fort varies from person to person. Just like what Marco told us, there are units or investment perfect for each person from the young professionals, to the business class, and the residential home-owner type.
