Pilmico, a food subsidiary of Aboitiz, recently held its Back to School program at Pilmico Research and Training Bakery in Paranaque as part of their advocacy to promote healthy and nutritious snacks for kids. Resident Chef Cynthia Durian prepared recipes like Tiny Chicken Triangles, Mini Ham and Cheese Quiche, Garlic/Cheese Sticks, and other healthy snacks which will be part of the tasty treats for the Back to School program. A mini baking workshop for bloggers was held inside the Research and Training Bakery located at 317 El Grande Ave., BF Homes in Paranaque City.
Data gathered by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (UNFAO) shows the status of micro-nutrient malnutrition in our country as a a cause for concern. Through Back to School program, Pilmico highlights easy meals with good nutritional benefits at pocket-friendly price.
Pilmico’s Research and Training Bakery equips enthusiasts and potential food entrepreneurs to learn how to bake fresh, tasty, and healthy pastries. Bakery management is also offered for those who are interested in putting up their own baking-related businesses.
A Bakery Management/Commercial Bread Baking – Healthy Breads with Chef Cynthia will be scheduled on July 6 (6 days), 12 (2 days), 16 (2 days), and 23 (days) available for 10 slots each of the mentioned dates.

A Commercial Cake Baking – Low Ratio Cakes is on schedule for August and Commercial Cupcake Baking/Home Baking/ Christmas Goodies will be held on September.
