Sharing their awareness campaign about the problems faced by Filipino denture wearers in their everyday life, GSK Polident installs their ‘bigger-than-life’ inflatable depicting a denture biting onto a corn cob.
Their first installation happened on May 14, 2015 at the Palacio de Manila along Roxas Boulevard. This first-of-its-kind installation is in their aim to expose the everyday scenario experienced by people who wear dentures.
In the media briefing, GSK Polident product manager, Isa Marfori said that Filipino are ‘matiisin.’ She added, “Many Filipinos suffer from the pain of using dentures because we are used to being complacent and the ‘pwede na yan’ attitude.”
She also mentioned that according to their research, Filipino denture wearers only visit their dentist for just once every 5 years. “That is from the first time they wore had their dentures and they will only come back when they feel that something is really wrong,” she explained.
Addition to that, Polident is now proud to say they are working on different programs in order to help Filipino denture wearers to gain their confident smiles again.
Starting this month, GSK Polident will be visiting different indigent barangays and give people a chance to have their own dentures for free and also teach them how to properly take care of their smiles.
GSK Polident encourages Filipino denture wearers to try and ‘take the Polident Challenge.’ They also highlighted their special offer to give free samples of their Polident adhesive creams for dentures, cleansing solutions, and other oral care products. Customers can reach them at 924-2475.
Moreover, the installation of Polident’s bigger-than-life inflatable will be inaugurated at the Rajah Sulayman in Malate, Manila starting May 15 to 17 then at the Plaza Miranda, Quiapo, Manila on May 22 to 24 and to its last stop at Tutuban Market on May 29 to 31.
