Robin Padilla is known in Philippines Showbiz as the Action Prince and has been a popular figure both charitable works and campaigns entertaining Filipino workers abroad, aka OFWs.
MoneyGram is a money remittance US based company in Dallas, known globally in 200 countries, including Philippines which has over 13,000 locations by the end of July 2016.
MoneyGram has 375,000 locations worldwide.
Robin and MoneyGram’s relationship started four years ago in 2012 and continuously strengthens within the succeeding years.
The first endorsement by Robin as Global Brand Ambassador for MoneyGram was to bring awareness on what the brand was all about, according to Alex Chan Lim, Philippines Country Manager, MoneyGram, as he welcomes Robin and their new TV campaign “Bringing You Closer” commercial to elevate OFWs state and how they are making their difference to their families. The remittance company also renewed its contract with the actor.
The new global campaign “Bringing You Closer” capitalizes on how active Pinoys are in social media. The campaign highlights and provide importance to the senders and receivers as they are the ones making a difference for everyone. This is legitimate reason to salute and celebrate them.
“As-salāmu ʿalaykum. Peace be with you all.
Each family members plays an active and vital role in pulling the family closer together in the absence of one or both OFW’s parents. The amount of emotional devotion that is required from them is something that both MoneyGram and Robin admire.
“Eto pong kampanyang ito, sabi nga ng MoneyGram, gusto natin silang (OFWs and their families) maging ‘closer together’.
Receivers can conveniently claim their remittances in the Philippines through trusted partner locations. Additionally, OFW family members can now send their remittances directly to their loved ones’ bank accounts at any bank in the Philippines through MoneyGram’s cash-to-account service.
