It was a battle between two towers and KFC, in partnership with the National Basketball Association (NBA), brought PBA player Doug Kramer of San Miguel Beermen and NBA All-Star Toronto Raptors forward DeMar DeRozan for the KFC Fully Loaded Shootout #NBA3XPH held at the KFC, SM Mall of Asia last Friday afternoon. Also, fans were treated to this one-of-a-kind basketball experience where they got the chance to meet and greet the two basketball stars while they got the chance to play alongside the 4-round #KFCFullyLoadedShootout basketball match.
The KFC Fully Loaded Shootout had two teams, Team KFC and Team NBA. Each member had three (3) members each competing on a 4-round basketball shootout match to beat the 60-second buzzer. The team with the most numbers of balls shot in the ring emerged as the champions of the KFC Fully Loaded Shootout. Team KFC bagged the title.
The KFC Fully Loaded Shootout is KFC Philippines‘ initiative in line with this year’s NBA 3X, an annual event of the NBA in the Philippines.
“We recognized the Filipinos’ passion for basketball and by having our country’s own basketball star, Doug Kramer, represent Team KFC in the Fully Loaded Shootout, we’ll be showcasing the love that we have for this game,” explained KFC Philippines Marketing Officer Symon Siman who spoke during the event.
