The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) goes online! Securing clearances, that is.
Now, getting your NBI Clearance is made faster with these 3 easy steps. No more hassles of lining up and waiting for hours or the whole day with the full implementation of its Online registration, Appointment, and E-Payment System, securing an NBI Clearance has become faster, easier, and more convenient. To register online, visit clearance.nbi.gov.ph.
From the 6-step process, the new system has considerably reduced the entire process into three (3) steps:
1.Online registration, appointment, and e-payment system;
2. Photo capture and fingerprint biometrics;
3. NBI Clearance printing
During the launch held earlier at the NBI Main Headquarters in Taft Ave., Bb. Pilipinas 2010 winner and Miss Universe 2010 4th Runner Up Venus Raj and Miss Universe 2013 3rd Runner Up, Ariella Arida sampled the new process where NBI clearance application will only take a few minutes to finish with the new online and mobile system.
This will lessen the long lines of applicants and no more spending long hours waiting to request for your NBI clearances in 72 satellite and field offices of the National Bureau Investigation located nationwide.
Payments have been made easy as well with many choices like Mobile Payment (GCash), Online Banking, Over the Counter -Bank, Over the Counter-Non Bank (Bayad Center, LBC, Robinsons Dep’t Stores), and ATM/Debit Cards.
Aside from that, there’ll be no more messy finger printing application when you apply for your NBI clearance, using the digital fingerprint biometrics scanner. New system, new technology, new tools.
“The Bureau understood very much, we feel the discomfort and the difficulty of our citizens in securing NBI clearance. Through the implementation of the new system early this year, the procedures in securing clearance has been significantly reduced and simplified. The 3 step procedures, convenient, fast and easier, and the registration can even be done in the comfort of your home,” said NBI Director Atty. Virgilio Mendez during the program today.
“In behalf of the NBI, we expect so much that this (new system) will help reduce or minimize the queueing problems, as well as giving our public convenient and easy time to secure NBI clearance. Maraming salamat po,” he added.
For applicants without Internet access, the NBI, as an initial step, has set up computer workstations at its Main clearance processing center in Manila, free of charge. And this will also be offered in Regional and District Offices, soon.
