Sounds good for passengers traveling in comfort and luxury as Singapore Airlines launches its First Class cabin on its Manila to Singapore route starting 12th of January 2015. Singapore Airlines will be the only airline offering the First Class product on this sector.

Singapore Airlines offers four daily flights on the Boeing 777-200 and the Airbus A330-300 aircraft at present, but by next year, travelers from Manila will get to experience flying on the airline’s B777-300ER fleet which features the First Class product. Operating the SQ910 and SQ917 daily service, the B777-300ER will provide eight first class seats, 42 business class seats, and 228 economy seats. Well, the only nearest encounter we had with the aircraft was during the SA‘s expo in Ayala, Makati and we are very impressed of their services. We are counting the days the moment we stepped on board of one of their aircraft! 2015, watch out for it!

Fly like Derek Low’s experience

Going back, in First Class, each passenger is provided with a vanity corner complete with a mirror, a table that can be adjusted for height to suit individual preferences, and a 35-inch seat that can be converted to the largest fully flat bed in the sky. This reminds us of the Chinese guy who took photos of the inside the Suites Class of SA and later on got bashed online. While indeed there was no doubt he flew in Suites Class but because the issue was, he was caught ‘plagiarizing‘ contents for his blog. Not sure if this accusation was proven though. Name is Derek Low?

First Class passengers are treated to the airline’s world gourmet cuisine created by its International Culinary Panel of world-renowned chefs accompanied by a tantalizing selection of wine and beverages specially designed to delight the discerning palate. We need to be friends with Derek, now. For sure.

With a large 23-inch LCD screen, passengers flying First Class also enjoy KrisWorld, Singapore Airlines’ state-of-the-art in-flight entertainment system, which features carefully curated movies and music in several languages from around the world, as well as a wide selection of games that will surely entertain travelers of all ages. The Grand Budapest Hotel, why not?

We're guessing Derek himself would not mind us sharing his photo inside his Singapore Airlines Suites Class cabin.

Business Class passengers will also enjoy elevated luxury and convenience. Designed for the best travel experience, these Business Class seats can be converted to full-flat beds that are 75 inches long. To add to that, each passenger is not only given access to the all-in-one business panel that includes an in-seat power supply for laptops, they are also provided with 15-inch screens that gives access to Singapore Airlines’ top notch in-flight entertainment, KrisWorld.

If only we can fly First Class, much like Derek did. Anyways, his blog is interesting and entertaining. He really nailed it showing off how it is to fly $23,000 Singapore Airlines Suites Class.

*We corrected some parts where we previously referred Derek Low’s Suites Class experience to First Class experience. We apologized for that entry and Suites Class is different from First Class, so as not to confuse the readers. Thank you!
